A Big Contest Giveaway!

With the help of Lipton we here at Our Wicked Weighs are ready to bring you one of the best contests we have had to date. It is a two part contest - one for them and one for us! I told you it was HUGE!

First - The Lipton “Free Your Y” Contest:

Lipton wants you to “Free Your Y” which means they want you to Free Your YOUTH! Everyone has youth in them whether they are 10 or 100! They want you to find it and show it off… in a video for all to see Lipton has a product called “Lipton White Teas” which are made from the young tea buds, plucked early in their life cycle, and just like their White Tea they know that everyone has a youthful side to them. Lipton wants you to show your inner youthful spirit and highlight those things that you do everyday that make you feel young again… and we all know how great it is to feel young! Your mission if you choose to accept it is to submit a 2 minute or less video showcasing your youthful spirits for the camera. There are three categories:

Moves and Grooves
Tricks and Feats
Free for All

This isn’t for a commercial or to promote Lipton White Teas - again, it is all about showcasing your inner youth… so whatever makes you feel young! Find a category that fits it - whether you like to snowboard, skateboard, do something silly like play double dutch jump rope with four 40 year olds… whatever makes you feel young! Make the video and submit it to Lipton’s “Free Your Y” Contest and you are eligible to win great prizes that consist of:

Grand Prize: $25,000
Second Place: $5,000
Third Place: $5,000

The Lipton’s “Free Your Y” Contest is open now and you have until May 11th to enter your submission. 15 Finalists will be selected from May 11th to May 17th with public voting starting on May 17th and lasting until May 30th. The winner (which hopefully will be someone from Our Wicked Weighs!) will be announced on June 2nd!

Now - the details for our own contest!

Lipton has agreed so wonderfully to supply us with a few coupons for our own members to try out. We have 5 to 10 coupons to give away for our lucky members to try a FREE 1.5 Liter Bottle of Lipton White Iced Tea. We also have 1 box of Hot White Tea as well as 5 to-go sticks. So that is approximately 11 to 16 people that get to try the Lipton White Tea brand and see what they think of it!

Here’s the deal… If you are interested in trying one of the Lipton products email me directly at and send me your full address and let me know which you would prefer - the free bottle coupon, the box of Hot White Tea (since there is only one the first person who specifies this gets it!), or one of the 5 to-go sticks, and I’ll send them on out as soon as I get them. When you get them you drink it up and review it on your own website to let everyone know how great Lipton White Tea is! That will enter you into this wonderful contest that I am just about to tell you about

2. Review the product on your own blog
3. Send me the link to your blog so I can add you to our list of entries to try to win this great bike!

If you are not one of the people that get a sample here is an additional way to enter:

1. Write about the contest on your own blog and link them directly to Our Wicked Weighs
2. Tell your members to register with us as well as enter the contest
3. Leave a comment with the actual link to the post showing us that you linked to the contest as well as to Our Wicked Weighs and voilà! You are entered in the contest as well!

Just a note: You must be a registered member of our blog to take place in our contest.

EDIT: It has come to my attention that there are some people who read this blog that do not have a blog of their own… so far be it from me to leave people out, so even if you don’t have a blog just leave a comment saying you want to be entered and then send me your complete address so that I can officially enter you. Again, don’t worry if you don’t have a blog, we want to make sure all our members get entered!! Just make sure to register first if you have not already done so!

We will have a friend RANDOMLY choose a winner for the bike… and yes - since Queenie and I have our own blogs we can enter too I can’t pass up a chance to win a great bike either you know, lol. But it will be random that you can be assured of! So, email me ASAP if you want a free sample to review and get your posts written on your own blog to enter the contest. This contest will end the same day that the Lipton’s “Free Your Y” Contest ends which is May 11th. A winner will be chosen within a few days after.
