The End of the Week…

It’s Friday which means Weigh-in day!!  But what else does it mean?  Does it mean that you are done with your healthier eating habits until Monday?  For many people it means exactly that.  For some reason we choose to make Friday the start of an “insta-party” which means we eat anything we want to eat, any time.  Just because the work week is ending, and the weekend brings lunch dates, dinner dates, and full days at home with plenty of access to the refrigerator, does not mean that it gives us free reign to eat whatever we want! 

This weekend I want you to challenge yourself -

Eat exactly the same this weekend as you have this past week (only if you’ve eaten well of course wink) Do not give yourself any excuses to slack off and eat the fatty, greasy foods that you know you like.  Not only will it give you a great feeling when you keep to your new healthier way of eating, but it will give you a bigger weight loss next Friday!

As for me, my “do-over” on my diet is showing some improvement!  I’m down 1.6 pounds this week, which is a considerable change from my weight gain over the past 2 months.  Although it isn’t as much as I would like, it is a change that I’m happy about.

Way to go Erin!!!!!!

I got on the scale this am to find that I am DOWN 2 pounds. I missed two days of workouts this week too. I am officially 11 pounds away from my original 50 pound goal now. And I started in October!!! Yes. Say it with me. That would be 39 pounds in 5 months without killing myself, starving myself or being miserable. I am one happy Queenie.

Great Job Erin!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I weighed myself this morning and the scale read 125.7. I met my two month mark of meeting my goal weight and keeping it steady.

I am up 0.5 lb this week. I seem to be having a really hard time lately. Determined that this week things will start to turn around!

Millie - Excellent job. Maintaining is half of the battle you know. smile

Tana - It’s not a loss, but its also not a gain. Look at it that way. Hang in there. Plateaus suck sometimes. Just stick with it and eventually that scale will budge.

Java - Scream out “Mulligan” and start over girl. It’s ok. smile You might also want to rethink what you are doing if it’s not getting you the results you want. Sometimes, an evaluation is in order. Don’t give up.

Might not get an offical WI this week, we are iced in with more on the way.

I was bad and skipped WW this morning.  I actually ate pretty bad this week and would not be suprised if the scale is WAY up.  I already blew healthy eating today, but I’m determined to start getting back on NOW!

Congrats on your loss!  Great job!

My personal official weigh-in is Tuesday but I do weigh daily to keep up with trends.  I’m happy to say I stopped an upward trend and the scale is moving the right direction again.  whew!  There’s a lot to be said for drinking lots of water and journaling.

Now, about the weekend ... I am doing WW and I save a lot of my flex points for the weekend.  So I can’t promise I won’t eat a little differently than I did the rest of the week, but I can promise that it will be within my points allowance. 

Insta-party ... hee hee hee ... if you could create that product it would totally sell.  Can you imagine sitting in a boring meeting on a friday afternoon, and *BOOM* you get out the insta-party?  Or you’re at the in-laws and feeling very done?  *BOOM* Insta-party to the rescue!

I weighed in this morning at 205, which is down 3 pounds from last week.

However, today was the last day at work for one of my coworkers, so we had a going party for him.  I was bad!  They bought a cake from ColdStone Creamery!!  So I had a piece and not a dainty piece either.  They got the Strawberry Passion and OMG!!  Well, I don’t want to see the scale tomorrow.

STILL HOLDING STEADY AND GETTING VERY TIRED OF IT GONNA HAVE TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT, LATER TODAY IT’S OUT TO SOME GOOD OLE GEO CACHING MAYBE THAT WILL DO THE TRICK.
