The End of the Week…

It’s Friday which means Weigh-in day!!  But what else does it mean?  Does it mean that you are done with your healthier eating habits until Monday?  For many people it means exactly that.  For some reason we choose to make Friday the start of an “insta-party” which means we eat anything we want to eat, any time.  Just because the work week is ending, and the weekend brings lunch dates, dinner dates, and full days at home with plenty of access to the refrigerator, does not mean that it gives us free reign to eat whatever we want! 

This weekend I want you to challenge yourself -

Eat exactly the same this weekend as you have this past week (only if you’ve eaten well of course wink) Do not give yourself any excuses to slack off and eat the fatty, greasy foods that you know you like.  Not only will it give you a great feeling when you keep to your new healthier way of eating, but it will give you a bigger weight loss next Friday!

As for me, my “do-over” on my diet is showing some improvement!  I’m down 1.6 pounds this week, which is a considerable change from my weight gain over the past 2 months.  Although it isn’t as much as I would like, it is a change that I’m happy about.
