A Tour Around Our Wicked Weighs
Before we go any further into healthy eating and exercise, and everything else we are going to talk about here at Our Wicked Weighs, I wanted to welcome all of the new members, as well as many of the old members! There is a lot of new and exciting things that is going to take place, and we are thrilled that you are all a part of it. We now have our recipes in place, so if any of you have any wonderful to-die-for recipes we would love it if you can share them
Also, we wanted to let you know about our new weekly feature that we never quite got organized our last time. It is the featured loser
No, it isn’t nearly as bad as it sounds! In fact, it is a good thing! The featured loser is someone that we nominate to be our special guest for the week! Granted there won’t be a big prize or a car to win or anything, but you will get to hang your hat on our blog for the week which we hope will inspire many people to come by and visit you. You don’t even have to lose weight that week or anything! Just by demonstrating an addiction love for healthy eating and supporting others we will choose you. Now doesn’t that make you want to come by and comment more often? We will be picking our first featured loser this coming Monday, so if you want to nominate yourself or others, we would love to hear about it!
In the coming weeks we will also be hosting contests and so forth (with prizes!!) so we hope you spread the word about Our Wicked Weighs because we want to get everyone involved in starting the New Year off right by choosing to lose weight and become healthier. That is our whole goal here, and we hope that you can see how hard we are trying to be healthy, and how much we want you to join us. You all mean so much to us, that we want everyone to succeed!
In the hopes that you will all succeed we have posted many Resources and Tools that we think might help you. If you are just starting off and looking for a weight loss plan, we have them all listed, so check them out and see if any one interests you. If you have any questions then let us know and we will certainly find out as much information about them as we can. We know that it sounds simple enough - eat right and exercise - but we also know that not everyone can do it on their own. So, hopefully there is something in there that can get you motivated and on the right track. If you use something that we don’t have listed, make sure to let us know and we’ll put it up!
Now, if you haven’t registered, make sure to go and do it ASAP so that you can be on our list for occasional emails and newsletters that we plan on putting out. And if you REALLY love us (and quite frankly, how could you not?? LOL), spread the word. We want you to tell your friends and have their friends tell their friends and so forth so that we have a real supportive community here. We’re off to change the world, one overweight person at a time
